Our Board Member Expectations:

The Board of Directors for Paws and Think, Inc. is a “Working Board.” Members contribute their “time, talents and treasures” through their support of Board activities and events. Foundation trustees and grantors, our primary source of funding, look for 100 % participation from members through attendance at board meetings and events and through financial contributions. Since the Board represents the diversity of its constituents, the amount that each member donates is left to the discretion of each member. When asked “what is your suggested amount for donation?” the Board suggests that Paws and Think be among your top three charitable organizations regarding level of gifting. We ask that your annual gift be one that you consider “generous for you.” Your assistance in positively promoting the organization within the community to prospective volunteers, clients and donors also serves the organization.

Our Board Member Opportunities

Our Board is currently filled but we do take names for our waiting list. As our current Board Members complete their terms, we will fill positions that match the goals outlined in our strategic plan. We anticipate that our needs in the near future will include a dynamic Volunteer Coordinator (previous direct or similar experience preferred) and a well-organized Events Chairperson (previous direct or similar experience preferred).
