It’s hard to believe it’s already been a full year since Merlin, a special pup from our September 2024 Youth-Canine Program, found his forever home. Today, his new family calls him Enzo — and they say he’s brought endless joy into their lives.
Enzo has quickly become a beloved member of the family, with a personality that lights up every room. But even with all the playtime and love, he has one favorite thing: his “bark blanket.” Made by Paws & Think volunteers and given to every Youth-Canine dog when they are adopted, this cozy blanket has become Enzo’s go-to spot for snuggles, naps, and quiet comfort.
Stories like Enzo’s remind us why our Youth-Canine Program exists: to give pups a second chance and to help youth grow, learn, and connect with these amazing dogs. Every adoption is a new beginning — for the dog, the youth who trained them, and their forever family.
