Kim Cheek

Kim Cheek is a senior executive leader with more than 30 years of experience advancing people-centered strategy, culture, and talent development. She serves as Senior Vice President at the University of Illinois Community Credit Union, where she is a member of the executive leadership team and the executive lead for shaping and sustaining the organization’s culture—work that has contributed to the credit union being recognized as a Best Place to Work for the past nine years.

Guided by a deep commitment to her faith, Kim strives to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose in all that she does. She has also served as a mentor to children in two different communities, reflecting her belief in advocacy, education, and connection.

A devoted dog lover, she is passionate about the power of dogs to support wellbeing, healing, and human connection, and she strongly believes in the value of using dogs to help people live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
