Kelsey Bishop

Kelsey Bishop has been part of Paws & Think for three years and loves helping with the Youth-Canine Program. In her role, Kelsey supports every aspect of the program, from temperament testing and coaching young participants to ensuring each dog is safely transported to and from our shelter and rescue partners in the Paws & Think van.
Kelsey first joined Paws & Think as a therapy team with her dog, Winston. Though Winston has since retired, her passion for the mission only grew stronger, inspiring her to continue making a difference in the lives of both people and dogs.
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Kelsey didn’t grow up with pets, but after meeting her animal-loving husband, David, she quickly discovered her love of dogs. Today, the couple lives on the southeast side of Indianapolis with their two cattle dogs: Winston, a blue heeler, and Wren, a red heeler mix. Together, they’ve also fostered numerous dogs through local rescues and shelters.
A passionate advocate for positive, relationship-based animal care, Kelsey enjoys seeing youth and dogs learn and grow together. When she’s not working with Paws & Think, you can find her spending time outdoors, tackling DIY projects with David, or enjoying life with Winston and Wren by her side.
