Ashish Mahajan

Ashish Mahajan brings more than 10 years of experience in technology strategy, platform architecture, operational reliability, compliance, and large-scale systems leadership to Paws & Think’s Board of Directors. He currently serves as a Principal Engineer at Salesforce, where he leads the strategy, architecture, and delivery of high-scale platforms that support secure, resilient, and reliable customer experiences.

Throughout his career, Ashish has focused on turning complex challenges into durable, well-governed systems. His work has included leading initiatives to meet critical regulatory requirements, strengthening reliability across large-scale data infrastructure, improving operational resilience, and helping cross-functional teams deliver secure and trusted platforms at scale.

Ashish is proud to support Paws & Think’s mission of improving lives through the power of the human-dog connection. As a board member, he contributes governance, strategic thinking, risk awareness, and systems-level problem solving to help the organization continue growing its impact across the Indianapolis community. He and his dog, Lux, also became a registered therapy team with Paws & Think in February 2025 and enjoy volunteering together at a variety of partner venues and special events.

Ashish lives in downtown Indianapolis and is passionate about service, long-term community impact, and supporting organizations that create meaningful connections between people, animals, and the communities they serve.
