The Luminous Fund was created in 2016 by Kathy and Dave Carrier and their children. Their original motivation was to pass the foundation of giving and service to their four children and their significant others.
In 2019, the Luminous Fund provided a grant that expanded our Paws to Read Program for children aged 6 – 12. Mary Carrier was the driving force behind introducing us to the family fund and helping secure the donation. Thank you, Mary!
We just learned we received funding again in 2020 to support our program especially as it relates to Covid-19 programming.
Their support helps children gain confidence, improve reading and communication skills and develop a love of reading. We are very grateful for their continued support of this important program.
