Healing on Both Ends of the Leash

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2025 Tails of Celebration, what an unforgettable night! With over 150 passionate supporters in attendance, the evening was filled with wagging tails, inspiring stories, and a shared commitment to healing on both ends of the leash.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised nearly $46,000, surpassing our $40,000 goal by almost 115%! These funds will help sustain and grow our Therapy Dog and Youth-Canine Programs, allowing us to continue transforming lives and strengthening the connection between people and dogs in our community.

This year’s program was especially moving thanks to our guest speakers:

• Arie, age 10, who bravely shared her journey with childhood cancer and how our therapy dog teams continue to support her throughout her treatment.
• Kim and her therapy dog, Hallie, who told the story of Hallie’s transformation from a shelter dog to a beloved Paws & Think therapy dog.
• Youth volunteer Leanor and her mom, Aimee, who reflected on Leanor’s experience with childhood cancer, her connection with our therapy teams during treatment, and her journey to become a Paws & Think volunteer to give back and help during our training classes for future therapy teams.

We are deeply grateful to all who made this night possible. Your support ensures we can keep bringing comfort, connection, and hope to those who need it most.
