Your contribution to Paws & Think provides life-changing programs to people and dogs in need! Our donors ensure we can evaluate & register even more therapy teams and help at-risk youth learn life skills while finding shelter dogs their forever homes.

Today, we announce the retirement of Kathy Janes, our dear friend and dedicated Volunteer Coordinator.
Kathy has been an integral part of Paws & Think for the last 12 years and her contributions were integral to our success and continuity. She began volunteering in 2009 as the Animal Assisted Activities & Therapies Advisor and as a registered handler. She then served on the Board of Directors from 2011-2015 and later joined the staff as the Volunteer Coordinator in 2016. Throughout this time, she’s continued to volunteer as a registered handler with her many wonderful therapy dogs. It is difficult if not impossible to sum up her achievements over her many years of dedicated service. Anyone who has talked to Kathy knows her passion for the work we do was evident. Fortunately, Kathy is planning to stay on as a volunteer as her schedule allows.
