Volunteer Spotlight: Marsha

give today

Your contribution to Paws & Think provides life-changing programs to people and dogs in need! Our donors ensure we can evaluate & register even more therapy teams and help at-risk youth learn life skills while finding shelter dogs their forever homes.

Marsha has been a Paws & Think volunteer for 16 years because she believes in the human-animal connection. She and her Golden Retriever, Cheyenne, trained with our founder, Gayle Hutchens, in the basements of churches around the Indianapolis area. Once Cheyenne was registered with Paws & Think, she and Marsha became the first therapy team to visit the VA Hospital, and the veterans were always so thankful for their visits.
Your support helps handlers like Marsha spread hope and joy in our community by sharing their therapy dogs with those who need it most. Without your help, tens of thousands of people each year would go without our services. This includes people who are hospitalized and alone, youth who are grieving, incarcerated youth, and so many more. Please donate by May 21st and help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 for our 20th Anniversary. Donate at
