Tails of Celebration, an Evening with Paws & Think, is our annual extravaganza where we bring together partners and leaders in the community, who are all dog-loving supporters, to raise funds to help improve lives through the power of the human-dog connection.

Join Paws & Think for our 2025 Tails of Celebration!

Come celebrate a year of accomplishments and impact at our annual fundraising event. Experience the power of the human-dog connection through inspiring stories from our volunteers, partners, and staff, all while enjoying an evening with fellow supporters.

Visit with therapy dogs, enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, browse our exciting silent auction, and look forward to hearing from special guests representing both our Therapy Dog Programs and Youth-Canine Program. With plenty of fun and meaningful moments planned, this is an evening you won’t want to miss!

Your attendance and support as a guest or sponsor directly benefit Paws & Think’s transformational programs for people and dogs in our community. Together, we can ensure that every person who could benefit from a dog has the opportunity, and every dog fulfills its potential. Join us for a night of celebration, connection, and community—all for a great cause!

Guests will be able to capture the excitement of the evening and add extra fun to the night with a photo booth from Bhatta Boom Photo Booth, photo booth rental Indianapolis.

All funds raised help cover our Animal-Assisted Intervention and Youth-Canine Programs. Your support helps us in our endeavor to make sure every person who could benefit from a dog gets the opportunity, and every dog fulfills its potential.

What is the event attire/dress?

Great question! We’re aiming for a comfortable yet classy vibe, so business casual is the way to go. Think of it as your chance to look sharp without the need for a tie or formal gown. It’s all about enjoying a relaxed and stylish evening with fellow dog-loving supporters.

Can I bring my dog?

We’d love to see your furry friend, but due to limited space at the Indianapolis Art Center, we ask that you leave them at home this time. However, we promise to have a few therapy teams on-site, so you can still get your doggie fix!

Where should I park?

We’ve got you covered! There’s a spacious parking lot towards the side/back of the building, offering ample parking. You’ll be parked and celebrating in no time.

Where do I enter when I arrive?

Just head for the main doors off 67th St. That’s your entrance to a night of fun, laughter, and the incredible world of Paws & Think.

How can I support Paws & Think beyond this event?

Great question! We appreciate your passion for our cause. You can support us by becoming a volunteer, making a donation, or spreading the word about our mission.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to guarantee your spot at this fabulous event. It’s going to be a “barking” good time, and we want to make sure you don’t miss out.

How will my ticket purchase support Paws & Think?

Your ticket purchase is a direct investment in our mission to improve lives through the power of the human-dog connection. The funds raised help us sustain and expand our programs, benefiting our community in countless ways. Your presence at Tails of Celebration makes a significant impact.

Are children welcome at the event?

We welcome families to join the celebration. It’s an excellent opportunity to introduce the young ones to the power of the human-dog bond. We also welcome youth volunteers so this a great way to get them involved!

Can I bring a friend who hasn’t purchased a ticket yet?

Friends are like treats – they make everything better! We’re thrilled to welcome your friends at the door, and they can purchase a ticket online on the spot. However, we do recommend they purchase tickets in advance to ensure a smooth check-in process. Encourage them to fetch their tickets soon!

Healing on Both Ends of the Leash

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2025 Tails of Celebration, what an unforgettable night! With over 150 passionate supporters in attendance, the evening was filled with wagging tails, inspiring stories, and a shared commitment to healing on both ends of the leash.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we raised nearly $46,000, surpassing our $40,000 goal by almost 115%! These funds will help sustain and grow our Therapy Dog and Youth-Canine Programs, allowing us to continue transforming lives and strengthening the connection between people and dogs in our community.

This year’s program was especially moving thanks to our guest speakers:

  • Arie, age 10, who bravely shared her journey with childhood cancer and how our therapy dog teams continue to support her throughout her treatment.
  • Kim and her therapy dog, Hallie, who told the story of Hallie’s transformation from a shelter dog to a beloved Paws & Think therapy dog.
  • Youth volunteer Leanor and her mom, Aimee, who reflected on Leanor’s experience with childhood cancer, her connection with our therapy teams during treatment, and her journey to become a Paws & Think volunteer to give back and help during our training classes for future therapy teams.

We are deeply grateful to all who made this night possible. Your support ensures we can keep bringing comfort, connection, and hope to those who need it most.
